Dormitory: Structure – Location – Identity Author: Michael G. Herwarth
EUR 24,90
Content:
In a set of three volumes of photographs the architect Michael G. Herwarth together with the Stuttgart Architectural Agency HPP Laage & Partner present creative design solutions for Hospitals, Clinics and Residential Buildings. Jochen Stueber, a photographer from Hamburg, has focused on the implementation of new and exciting design concepts that have been applied in selected projects. They show how a successful use of transparency, colour and a reduced choice of materials can create a Hotel atmosphere that contrasts considerably with that of existing stereotype buildings in the Healthcare domain. Concise annotations, excellent pictures and an effective layout make these attractive volumes a pleasure to the eye, and not just for insiders.
A Dormitory building with place for 36 disabled persons; An extension for a conference and counselling centre; The refurbishment and reconstruction of a 20th Century Villa for the Administration of Saxony’s Vocational Training Centre in Dresden
